I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold a Masters in Counseling Psychology from National University as well as a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Simpson University. With over 20 years of experience in marriage and parenting, my primary focus is on helping couples and working with families including adolescents and adults.
I have raised two boys in the North State where I am active in the community and enjoy traveling, exploring waterfalls, paddle boarding and kayaking. Whenever possible, I speak on parenting and provide support for marriage mentoring efforts for Shasta County. As a private practice therapist, it has been an honor to serve on the governing board of the Redding Chapter of California Marriage and Family Therapists for several years.
I am a Gottman trained couples therapist and use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR) as my foundation for helping couples get unstuck and develop a deeper connection.
